In a Stitch

This piece is sculpted in clay, hollowed out thin, fired, mounted on a steel base, and then painted with oil paint washes.

Strength and Compassion

Sculpted in Clay and painted with oil washes this piece looks quite realistic. However, I never use body-castings. All of my pieces are unique pieces and do not involve molds. $900.

Spring

Medium: Paper, steel, fired clay and oil paints.
Dimensions:18x10X12"
Price:$1,300
This piece was sculpted of water-based clay, fired and then painted with a series of oil paint washes. Steel rods were bent to form the corset portion of the torso. Hand made paper was then formed to the steel.

Painted Toes

Medium: Fired Clay, Oil Paints

These were sculpted solid looking at my own feet for reference. Then they were hollowed out and fired. A series of oil washes were applied for the finish. Each pair of feet are a unique separate sculpture. Available in Brown clay and white.

Beauty of a Headache

Medium: Fired Clay, oils paints, steel base
Dimensions: 16X9X8"
Price: $3,000 SOLD. This piece was sculpted solid on an armature, from a live model, in water based clay. When the modeling was finished, it is hollowed out very thin utilizing a special technique I have personally developed, then fired. A series of oil paint washes are applied in stages. Then the piece is mounted onto a welded steel base.

Bronze Torso

Medium: Cast bronze torso on a African Bubinga wood base.

This piece was originally sculpted in water based clay, a mold was made, cast in wax and then cast in bronze utilizing the "lost wax" method. (please see FAQ's for the bronze casting process)

Rennaisance Woman

Medium: Bronze Bas-Relief
Dimensions: 5" in diameter
Price: SOLD $550.00

This piece was sculpted in oil based clay, then cast in bronze. It can be hung on the wall or displayed on a small easel. It was created in Italy and has an old-world feel to it.





Midas Gal

Medium: Hollow-built Clay Toso with
faux-bronze patina
Dimensions: 21x13x9"
Price: $2,500

The torso was started with clay cylinders for the legs, then built up with clay walls inside for support. The forms were built up and sculpted as the piece progressed. Then "windows" were cut to hollow the piece out to a uniform thickness. Once finished, the piece is fired. The patina consists of black and gold paint, then deepened with hues of sienna and green to give it the look of bronze.

Medium: Cast Bronze

This unique piece was created from three bronze castings of a skelton hand, which were then bent into a pyramid form and welded together. The patina features beautiful green and brown tones. The piece may be displayed as is or with something placed in the hands.

This piece was sculpted in oil based clay, then cast in bronze. It can be hung on the wall or displayed on a small easel. It was inspired by the old victorian mouldings in victorian houses.
