Yerba Buena Event
This event was for Bariatric Surgeons and I was commissioned to create a piece reflecting health and healing. I came up with the piece "Strength & Compassion" which shows a fist for strength and a gentle hand wrapping around for compassion. I sculpted, along with three other artists in different mediums before the attendees of the conference. The piece is shown here in its clay state. ![]() In a Stitch
This sculpture will incorporate fired clay (in the style of "Beauty of a headache") with stitched patches on the chin and the nose and eyebrows. The theme is that of a doll/android creature. Our fascination with creation and duplication of real life in art. This piece is now finished in the same manner as "Beauty of a Headache", Please see the Sculpture Gallery. ![]() ![]() Medium: Cast Bronze Dimensions: 5" in diameter Price: $550.00 The piece shown here is in it's wax state, before being cast in bronze.
